HandScript is operated by TrustCore Systems. This page explains what we collect and why. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

The short version: your account details, the photos you upload and the fonts made from them stay private to your account. The processors listed belowhandle hosting, storage, the AI step, payments, site analytics and support email so the service can run. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

You can request removal of your account, uploads and fonts by email. Stripe retains payment records required for tax purposes. Waitlist entries and support correspondence are separate from your account; include a separate request if you also want those removed.

What we collect

• Account details:your name, email address, and password (stored hashed; we can't read it).
• What you upload: photos of your filled-in template or handwriting, and the fonts and previews we generate from them.
• Purchases:which fonts you've bought and when, the Stripe checkout session identifier, amount and currency. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Usage: page-view and event statistics from Google Analytics, including page URLs, browser/device information and cookie identifiers that distinguish browsers. Purchase events include a transaction identifier, amount and currency. Our site configuration disables Google Signals and advertising personalization signals. Google describes its IP-address use and regional data handling in its data safeguards, regional data collection and IP-address usage guidance.
• Waitlist: if you join a waitlist, your email address and which feature you asked about, kept until that feature launches or you ask us to remove you.
• Support: the email address and message contents you send to support@handscript.app, held in the support mailbox so we can answer you.

How it's used

To run your account, generate your fonts, process payments, answer support requests, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

Who processes it

• Supabase: accounts, database, and file storage.
• Vercel and Railway: hosting for the website and the font generator.
• Anthropic: for template fonts, the four corner regions of your photo are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to locate the registration marks; for memorial fonts, the photos themselves, to find handwritten characters. By default, Anthropic does not use API data to train its models, and we never opt in.
• Stripe: payments.
• Google Analytics: site usage statistics, browser identifiers and purchase event data.
• Cloudflare and Google: email to support@handscript.app is routed by Cloudflare to a Google mailbox we read.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account, uploads and fonts until you ask us to delete them. Email support@handscript.appfrom your account's email address and we'll remove your account, uploaded photos and generated fonts and previews. Payment records that we're required to keep for tax purposes are retained by Stripe.

Waitlist signups are stored separately from accounts. Deleting an account does not automatically remove its email address from a waitlist. To leave a waitlist, email us from the address you used to join and ask to be removed.

Support messages are held separately in the support mailbox. Deleting a HandScript account does not automatically delete that correspondence. For questions or requests to remove support messages, email the same support address and identify the correspondence you mean.
